Skal International Roma, in the activities of Brand Ambassador of his Country, in collaboration with the 2nd District of the City of Rome and AMUSE ( Friends of the 2nd District) , has organized on Friday 18th September at the Hotel Savoy in Rome, the Project presentation of the International Institute of Peace through Tourism (IIPT) www.expedition196.com Cassandra De Pecol , a young American lady, was the special guest on behalf of the International Institute of Peace through Tourism that was founded 25 years ago by an Italian-American, Mr. Louis D?Amore.

She will travel around the world for three years with the aim of drawing the attention of the media on peace and cooperation among peoples. In every city, Cassandra, will plant up to five trees with the local administration and one school and the last stop was in Rome from 18th to 19th September.

The green area of ?Chigi Park? has been chosen in collaboration with the 2nd District of the City of Rome and AMUSE. The schools were the Nursery School ?Villa Chigi? and the Primary School ?Contardo Ferrini?.

On the 18th September, at 9.00 am, a cherry tree was planted in the Nursery School “Villa Chigi”, with the participation of all the children. At 10.00 am, another cherry tree was planted in the Primary School ? Contardo Ferrini?. After these two events, a press conference took place at the Savoy Hotel. During the conference, the focus was on the IIPT Project?s targets and on the various activities developed in the schools.

Undeniable the aim of spreading abroad a good image of Rome. The primary goal for Skal International Roma is to promote the Tourism of Rome and Italy around the world, in particular among the 18.000 Skal members of 450 clubs in 89 Countries.

A great opportunity of visibility, image and positioning that only Skal International can assure to its members.

Lo Skal International Roma nella sua attivit? di Brand Ambassador del proprio Paese, in collaborazione con il 2? Municipio Roma Capitale e di AMUSE (Amici del Municipio Secondo di Roma) ha organizzato venerd? 18 Settembre all?Hotel Savoy di Roma la presentazione del Progetto della fondazione Internazionale della Pace attraverso il Turismo(IIPT).www.expedition196.com Ospite, una giovane americana, di nome Cassandra De Pecol, che, per conto della fondazione IIPT International Institute of Peace through Tourism, fondata 25 anni fa da un italo americano Louis D?Amore, sta facendo il giro del mondo della durata di tre anni per richiamare l’attenzione dei media su pace e cooperazione tra i popoli.

In ogni citt?, Cassandra ha l’obiettivo di piantare cinque alberi e di farlo con la amministrazione locale e una scuola. La pi? recente tappa ? stata Roma nei giorni 18 e 19 settembre.

L?Area Verde individuata in collaborazione con il 2? Municipio e con AMUSE ? stata quella del Parco di Villa Chigi con le scuole: Asilo Nido Villa Chigi e la Scuola d?Infanzia Primaria, Contardo Ferrini.

La mattina del 18, alle 9 ? stata effettuata la piantumazione di un ciliegio in fiore nell?Asilo Nido Villa Chigi, con la partecipazione di tutti i bimbi, e alle 10 ? stata ripetuta la seconda piantumazione nella scuola Contardo Ferrini. Successivamente, alle ore 12 c?? stata la conferenza stampa all?Hotel Savoy in Via Ludovisi.

In occasione della conferenza stampa, sono state evidenziate le finalit? del progetto e le attivit? svolte nelle scuole. Innegabile l?obiettivo di diffondere all?estero una buona immagine di Roma. Forte rilevanza, se non ?obiettivo primario?, riveste per lo Skal International Roma il posizionamento e la promozione turistica di Roma e dell?Italia nel mondo, in particolare nei confronti nei 18.000 membri dello Skal distribuiti in 450 clubs presenti in 89 Paesi.

Una grande opportunit? di visibilit?, di immagine e di posizionamento che solamente Skal International pu? assicurare ai suoi associati.
